The President’s Award is given at the National President’s discretion to an individual the President wants to recognize, and is someone who has helped the president with his or her accomplishments during the year.  It has been awarded almost every year since 1978. Beginning on June 1, 2020, ASHE will have a new Southwest Region. ASHE has been growing in the South and Southwest, with new sections in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston. These sections are joining an established section in Phoenix to form the new Southwest Region and add additional resources and geographic organization nationwide. 2020 National Conference Cancelled

Due to concerns about public health related to the current Coronavirus pandemic and restrictions expected to continue into the summer, the 2020 ASHE National Conference is cancelled. However, the National Board has decided to award the ASHE 2024 National Conference to the Carolina Triangle Section, allowing that section to use the preparation and efforts they have made to host a conference in Raleigh four years hence. The National Board hopes that members and others associated with our industries remain healthy and productive during these troubling times.
