The Southwest Penn Section was chartered on February 5.
On May 25, the first annual Convention, a single-day event, was held in, Bedford, PA.
Membership had grown to 555 members with five Sections (Harrisburg, Clearfield, Franklin, Altoona and Southwest Penn)
