The Articles of Incorporation were presented to the Dauphin County (Pennsylvania) Court, and name of the Society had been cleared and approved. On this date the first meeting of the Board of Directors was held. The concept of Sections was conceived. The chartering dinner was held on June 17, 1958 in Mechanicsburg, PA.
