Project Description
New US301 is one of the largest transportation projects ever built in Delaware. The project included the construction of 28 bridges and four interchanges, and included almost 900,000 square yards of concrete pavement, over 100,000 tons of asphalt pavement, over 7,000,000 cubic yards (CY) of soil moved, and over 68 acres of wetland mitigation. The project consisted of seven contracts, to complete construction in a timely and cost-effective manner.
